Seeing Red - Four dinners, a wedding and a dog show

So the weekend has come and gone and lots happened - so lets start with the dog show, as this was the major reason for me seeing red.

Thursday Night
Sushi nite - girls nite - what fun. aha yeh right... So theres um lets call her the Mrs who brings along the Mr - who is clearly the only man who should be allowed at "girls night" as they were both most upset when my friend T arrived. Now this is one of the most genuine people i know - yes he has his flaws -as do we all, but obviously Mrs Perfection does not. Which would be the only reason why you can get up on your high horse and stand in judgement of others right - if you're perfect. So they manage to insult him at every turn, insult my best friend in her absence - and all this in my presence. How is this ok? Do i give the impression that this is ok?!?!
And one more thing -I dont care if you're sitting next to Hitler himself - theres a little something called social decorum. You do not behave so disgustingly to another human being - especially when he's done nothing except greet you. Clearly i have not gotten over this... I refuse to be a part of this farce any longer.

The night got better...

I got in my lil car and made the trip out to Ballito, to the boy :) ... great weather, excellent company and i am of course so in love. And i manage to score a Primi dinner - yum! (i'm not a pig i just didnt eat much earlier)

Friday

Drive back to Durban for the loooooongest wedding in the history of all weddings....I put it down to research for my own. Note to self - there will be no bland veg biryani at my wedding.

Sunday

I'm back in Ballito, in Domestic Goddess mode. I cook, i clean and i do his laundry... aaaah I am a keeper. Back and forth to the restaurant which is a little slice of Cuba/The carribean right here in Durbs...its boooootiful :) The next few days sort of roll by in similar fashion. I'm lovin' this sneak peak into the future...

Tuesday night

I say bye to Ballito and the boy....back to reality. Durban Fashion Week needs my attention...
